About Liqua Pure CC

Liqua Pure CC is a Close Corporation formed in May 2006 in terms of the Close Corporation Act of South Africa by Mr. vd Merwe. The main objective was to sell and maintain water purification systems.

Mr vd Merwe identified a niche in the market after selling water purification systems for nearly a year, that there is not enough suppliers of purified water in the market. He started a small factory out of which he supplied water to customers.

It became evident that only a selected few suppliers are willing to supply to all the customers needs. He started with “branding” company logo’s on labels for companies and this business nearly doubled every month. Currently we supply to over 120 companies branded water. Soon another need was identified as to supply dispensers and clean water to customers. This brought in a lot of contracts.

This resulted in the need for expansion and another vehicle was obtained to deliver water.

In September 2007 Mr vd Merwe identified another need, and that was the installation of gas appliances. Mr K vd Merwe took a course qualifying him as a registered gas installer. This division of the company had shown rapid growth and is well on its way.

Although the company is not big, it is a family concern and will in the very near future expand in selling its first franchise. The aim in the company is to keep it financially sound.

The company is registered for VAT in order to deal with other government department contracts. Our auditors have registered the company for taxes.

Liqua Pure believe in live and let live. The company currently supplies products in 500ml, 1.5l, 5l, and 20l. Customers such as Spar, DFID, Pharmacies, guesthouses, marketing companies and event organizers are some of our major clients.

Liqua Pure is proud to achieve this in such a short time. We adhere to all the legislation concerning the industry and are proud to say that our products stand out in the market, with taste pureness and visual attractiveness.

The customer to us is the most important and a happy customer is a good advertisement for the company.
